Learning in Québec

My photo
I'm someone who began learning French when I was 53. I took a BA in French at 60 but wasn't happy with my level of comprehension (though I read very well). So, having really become comfortable with Spanish only by living on the Mexican border, I'm spending more time in Québec and near the border of Quebec, in Vermont, to see if I can do that here with French. I want to encourage others to do the same.

Il vaut plus tard que jamais

Here we are on Christmas Eve in the lovely city.  It was warm, in the 50s Farenheit.  The snow was from days earlier.  It rained a bit; we went into the cathedral for an hour or so.

So sorry to be late putting this up.  And in English! (I'm at a library computer that doesn't have any French markings, so far as I can determine.  Oh to be at a civilized computer in Quebec!)

But here we are.  It was a grand day, just up and back in time for sleep with dreams of how beautiful the city was.  That's Greg in the red coat, Stephen behind him, Jen to his left, and Jeannie in front.  Soon after this we went to eat Lebanese food.  Greg and Jen were delighted.
